Product: FastDoc (“FastDoc”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) — a browser extension and related services for AI-assisted clinical documentation and EMR-related workflows.

This Privacy Policy describes how FastDoc collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the FastDoc browser extension and any websites or APIs we operate that are linked from the extension (together, the “Services”).

If you are using FastDoc on behalf of a clinic, practice, or other organization, that organization’s policies may also apply.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide

Account and profile information, such as name, email address, professional role or specialty, clinic or organization name, and credentials used to sign in.
Clinical workflow content you choose to submit, which may include patient demographics or identifiers you enter, encounter metadata, transcripts, recordings, notes, and other documentation you generate or upload through the Services.
Support communications, such as messages you send to us (for example, via [email protected]).

1.2 Information collected automatically

Device and technical data, such as browser type, extension version, operating system, and general diagnostic or error information needed to operate and improve the Services.
Usage data, such as feature usage, session timestamps, and performance metrics, where enabled.
Local storage on your device, where the extension may store preferences, tokens, or cached content using browser storage capabilities you authorize.

1.3 Audio and microphone

Where you grant permission, the extension may access your microphone to capture audio for transcription and documentation features. Audio may be processed locally and/or transmitted to our servers and third-party processors to provide transcription, summarization, and related AI features.
